2026 GLOBAL IMPACT AND INSPIRING LEADERSHIP AWARDS: WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The United Organisation for Education and Sports Development Africa has officially announced the complete list of recipients for the 2026 Global Impact and Inspiring Leadership Awards.

The nomination and application window opened on March 30, 2025, and closed on September 30, 2025, with submissions received from multiple continents, including strong participation from Africans in the Diaspora.

From a competitive pool of over 751 entries, a final group of distinguished personalities was selected across the fields of governance, public service, international relations, entertainment, business, education, sports, arts, and healthcare.

Award Ceremony

The official investiture ceremony will take place on July 18, 2026, in Enugu State, Nigeria. 

At the ceremony

Awardees will receive the Global Impact and Inspiring Leadership Awards.

Thereafter, they will be issued the Commonwealth Society of Nigeria Ambassadorial Awards, in recognition of their international relevance and contribution to development, peace building, and diplomacy.
