Key Observations

Deduplication

● 143 entries were removed due to multiple

submissions. Only the first attempt was considered, in line with competition rules.

Score Adjustment

● Three questions in Mathematics were identified as errors and removed from scoring, resulting in a 6-point deduction from all participants. This means the maximum obtainable score became 94 if all remaining questions were answered correctly. However, an additional 6 points were awarded to all participants for completing the educational questionnaire, thereby restoring scores to their original totals.

Performance Distribution

 ● A significant number of participants (114) fall within the Bronze category.

Participation Trends

● High engagement was recorded from Lagos, Ogun, and Imo States, with strong representation from both public and private schools.

Overall Performance

● About 18% of participants achieved Gold level, reflecting the high standard of this year’s competition.
