Enugu, Nigeria – October 23, 2025
In another heartwarming moment of pride and accomplishment, Ogbu Chimfulumnanya Grace, a brilliant graduate of John Igwesi Memorial Grammar School, Emene, Enugu State, and one of the winners of the United Organization for Education and Sports Development (UOESD) National Debating Championship 2022, has officially received her student visa today at the Indian Embassy in Lagos. She is set to proceed to Marwadi University, India, on a 100% tuition scholarship.
The atmosphere at the Indian Embassy was filled with joy and emotion as Chimfulumnanya, dressed elegantly in a modest outfit, clasped her hands in gratitude and excitement upon receiving the visa. With tears of joy glistening in her eyes, she expressed heartfelt appreciation to Amb. Prof. Chineke Cajethan Goodluck, describing the moment as “a dream come true made possible by a visionary leader who believes in young people.” She also extended her thanks to the Indian Government and Marwadi University for the life-changing opportunity, adding that she hopes to make Nigeria and Africa proud through her studies.
This milestone further underscores the immense impact of Amb. Prof. Chineke, Cajethan Goodluck, the visionary President of the United Organization for Education and Sports Development, whose name has become synonymous with educational empowerment and youth transformation around the world. Prof. Chineke, often hailed as “a rare gift to humanity, born to rewrite history,” has, through the organization, dedicated his life to raising future leaders, creating global platforms for learning, and ensuring that education reaches every corner of society.
Over the years, UOESD has made tremendous strides by returning out-of-school children to classrooms, providing scholarships from primary to tertiary levels, and building international educational bridges through bilateral cooperation. His leadership continues to inspire a new generation of scholars who are rewriting Africa’s story abroad.
In a related development, Obeta Jonas Chiedochie, another shining star and winner of the 2021 edition of the same UOESD National Debating Championship from Divine Love Secondary School, Enugu, received his student visa in 2023 to study in India under a 100% tuition scholarship. Likewise, the 2020 scholarship winners, who departed to Cyprus, are now approaching their final year of study, a testament to the sustainability and success of the organization’s global education initiatives.
The United Organization for Education and Sports Development also expressed its deep appreciation to Hon. Amb. Safnas Mohamed, the India Government and Institutional Representative, whose cooperation and partnership have been pivotal in ensuring the success of these educational exchanges. His efforts in strengthening the ties between India and African educational institutions continue to produce remarkable outcomes.
The organization further extended gratitude to all its members and partners for their active involvement, commitment, and dedication in advancing educational development and supporting the dreams of young African talents.
As Chimfulumnanya embarks on this new chapter of her academic journey, her humility, gratitude, and passion for learning stand as an inspiration to many—proof that with opportunity, mentorship, and faith, excellence knows no boundaries.
