UOESD Records 2,019 Participants in 2026 National Quiz Competition

The United Organisation for Education and Sports Development (UOESD) successfully conducted the 2026 National Quiz Competition (Round 1) on 21st February 2026 across Nigeria, recording a total of 2,019 student participants nationwide.

Participation was recorded across all six geopolitical zones. The distribution is as follows:

South West – 887 students

South East – 549 students

South South – 343 students

North Central – 172 students

North West – 69 students

North East – None

The South West zone recorded the highest number of participants, with Lagos State leading nationwide. Participation from the North East was also confirmed, as students from the region took part in the competition.
